Our state-of-the art facility is your one-stop location for all of your disposal, recycling, and reuse needs

Things to know when visiting our facility

When entering our facility please proceed directly to the middle or right scale where your load will be weighed. The attendant will collect a deposit and direct to the the proper location based on what type of material you have

Please help us control litter in our neighborhood by covering or tarping your load. Uncovered loads are subject to additional fees.

Carpet Care Program

The Fremont Recycling & Transfer Station is a proud partner of the California Carpet Stewardship Program

Follow these steps to ensure the carpet and padding delivered to our facility is recycled:

  1. Keep the carpet and padding dry
  2. Do not roll items such as debris, tack strips, etc. inside the carpet
  3. Cut the carpet and padding into an easy to manage size/weight
  4. Keep carpet and padding separate

Bye Bye Mattress Recycling

The Fremont Recycling & Transfer Station is a proud partner of the Mattress Recycling Council (MRC)

Residents can drop off up to four mattresses and/or box springs at no-charge for recycling. Please adhere to the following guidelines to take advantage of this program:

  1. This program is for residents only. No commercial businesses qualify
  2. Mattresses and box springs must not be damaged
  3. Keep mattresses dry and free of excessive soiling
  4. Do not recycle mattresses infested with bed bugs

IMPORTANT: To qualify for a free drop-off, your load cannot be commingled with any other waste. Commingled loads are subject to our posted fees.

Business Hours

The Fremont Recycling and Transfer Station is open to the public from 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday thru Saturday.

We are closed every Sunday and on the following holidays: New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Many commonly used household chemicals and e-waste can be safely managed at our Household Hazardous Waste drop-off site.

About Us

The Fremont Recycling and Transfer Station provides residential and commercial recycling, solid waste disposal, and hazardous waste management service to the Tri-Cities community

Our facility is open to all members of the public as a one-stop location to recycle unwanted items, disposal services for non-recyclable waste, and for the safe management of common household hazardous waste.
